Scholarship aid is critical to Woodbury's students and will be doubly important for those seeking bachelor's degrees in our new programs. Eighty-five percent of the adult students who attend Woodbury-the majority are working women and men with families to support-require financial aid. The average family income of the financial-aid recipients is $21,985. Expanding the College's endowment is the long-term solution to ensuring that sufficient aid is available to all needy students.
We are proud to announce to establishment of the Collins Society, a special recognition society to honor generous donors who make a commitment to Woodbury College's future through a planned gift. A planned gift is a pledge to include Woodbury College in your will, or as a beneficiary of a life insurance or IRA fund, or a gift that may return income to the donor (or your heirs) through the establishment of a trust. A planned gift can also be a gift of appreciated stock or property.
If you and your legal advisors would like assistance with the wording of a bequest, either unrestricted or for a specific purpose, please contact the Development Office at (802) 229-0516 for further information on becoming a member of the Collins Society.
