Alumni Events

Thank you all for coming to the Woodbury College Alumni Reunion. The Alumni Team is so happy to hear that a good time was had by all, well maybe not all - the Mountaineers did lose to the Torrington Twisters (but we’ll get ‘em next year!).
We had a few minutes of panic with the weather forecast and the threat of possible rain but the weather held for us and it was a perfect sunny day with a light breeze and a temperature of 73°F. It just doesn’t get any better than that in Vermont!

Enjoy the photos below!

Pam (PL ’06) and Paul Hanson enjoy the Slider Bench, dedicated to the late Matt Drummy, just outside the “new” (built in 2000) wing.
Your Alumni Team and hosts! Deb (the blonde) and Kelley (the brunette). Deb also doubles as Larry’s assistant and Kelley doubles as an admissions counselor and alum (Paralegal 2004!).
The kids loved the volleyball and badminton nets (among all the other games!). Advisor and Internship Coordinator Jessie Lynn helps the kids keep the game in check
Under the tent, taking a break from the sun, and enjoying the best barbequed chicken this side of the Worcester range!
Our own President Larry Mandell prepares to throw out the first ball in the Mountaineers v. The Torrington Twisters game (rumor is that Larry threw a strike!)

Watch out! Here comes the pitch! Go Larry Go!
Baby! Baby! Prevention and Community Development Director Kelly Young started a trend when she spread out her blanket and let her son Ian (held by Maria Mwazo (PCD '06)) and daughter Violet loose.
Eating, relaxing, chatting and catching up under the tent.
Woodbury's newest art collection! A great time was had with sidewalk chalk in the parking lot.
Enjoying the sun!
Susan Palmer, Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Chair of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program, finishing her dessert – the cake went as fast as the chicken!
Woodbury College Vice President Ted Winokur, son Justin and wife JeanMarie cheering on the Mountaineers.

Thanks for coming!  See you soon!
