We're committed to helping all our students find the resources that will allow them to realize their
goals at Woodbury College.
As a student at Woodbury College, you will be eligible to apply for a range of federal and state grants and loans, employment retraining funds, and various sources of scholarships. Most aid is awarded on the basis of need. Woodbury College makes every effort to be sure that financial considerations do not stand in the way of any applicant. Approximately 85 percent of students attending Woodbury receive some form of financial aid.
As you plan your studies, please keep in mind the value of the
investment you are making. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that you can expect
an average increase in salary of between 8 percent and 10 percent
for every year of college completed. And, not only does more education
lead to higher paying jobs, it makes it more likely that you can
find a job.
Grants available to eligible students include the Federal Pell Grant, the Vermont State Student Incentive Grant (for Vermont residents), the Academic Competitiveness Grant, and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant. Loans are also available through the Federal Family Education Loan Program, which includes the Federal Stafford Loan, the Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan, and the Federal PLUS Loan. You may be eligible for other forms of aid, including Federal Work-Study funds, Woodbury Scholarships, and others.
