Undergraduate Application Process

 

Woodbury College is currently enrolling students in programs in Paralegal Studies, Pre-Law, and Advocacy for the Fall 2008 term.

Application Deadline: September 8, 2008.

Fall classes Begin:  September 20, 2008.

Step 1:
Download and fill out an application form. Because Woodbury's admissions process is an individualized one, be sure to include the essay requested on the application form. We'll want to learn more about who you are, your career goals, and any concerns you may have.

Step 2:
Apply for financial aid. If you have not already received a financial aid packet, call the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) toll-free at 1-877-563-6076 or visit them online at http://www.vsac.org. You may fill out your paperwork online, or you may fill it out using paper forms. If you use paper forms, be sure to sign them, and be sure to keep a copy for yourself.

Step 3:
Request transcripts. If you have never attended college before, please request high school transcripts. If you have previously attended college, please request transcripts from the last college you attended. (You may also wish to have a pre-admissions transcript evaluation completed by the Admissions Department. Please contact us for details at admiss@woodbury-college.edu)

Step 4:
Attend your scheduling meeting to register for classes. Once we have received your application, if everything is a good fit, we'll notify you of your official acceptance.  Shortly thereafter your academic advisor will contact you to arrange a scheduling meeting.

Step 5:
Attend orientation. Orientation is required for all new students, and will help you find your way around the college, learn more about your program, find out how to use our on-line library, and learn more about the assessment process. Orientation is not optional.
