A
beautiful hillside meadow frames Woodbury's main building, which is located on
eight acres a mile and a half north of the center of Montpelier, the capital
of Vermont. Formerly the old Montpelier "Poor Farm" barn, the original building
has been renovated and an addition built, and the campus now contains 10 classrooms,
library, faculty and administrative offices, meeting spaces, a central kitchen
gathering space, an atrium, and an inviting lounge with a fireplace and skylights.
Our building is
accessible to those who are disabled.
With a population of just over 8,800, Montpelier (http:// www.montpelier-vt.org/) is the smallest state capital in the country. Despite its small size, this vibrant city hosts several performing arts groups, a crafts center, a nature center, a variety of restaurants, and several art galleries, bookstores, and movie theaters. In addition, Woodbury's campus is connected to Montpelier's Hubbard Park, a wooded and hilly 180-acre park with meandering paths for walking, bicycling, and cross-country skiing. Woodbury's campus is also adjacent to Montpelier's municipal recreation fields, tennis courts, and swimming pool.
